The 13th General Meeting was held virtually on January 18, 2023, attended by Council Members, representatives from Associate Members, invited guests and the Network secretariat. The main meeting Agenda discussed were:

  • 2nd SEA Public Health Nutrition Conference

    Nutrition Association of Thailand presented the proposed direction and topics of the conference programme.
  • Update on the preparation of Monograph on FBDGs in SEA countries

    Relevant sections of the FBDG supplement papers published by the Network in year 2016 have been revised using the new FBDGs available in several Southeast Asian countries.
  • 2nd SEA Public Health Nutrition Leadership Programme

    The meeting discussed the activation of the leadership programme, to be held from 6th to 10th September in Nilai, Malaysia.
  • Follow-up activities related whole grains

    The meeting discussed two potential activities on whole grains:
    • Multicountry online survey on consumers’ understanding of whole grains/wholegrain products
    • Workshop on whole grain consumption studies
  • Public Health Nutrition Webinar Series

    The meeting discussed several potential topics for the webinar series, including food environments, physical activity and prevention & management of anaemia. There was general agreement to priorities the topic of food environments
